Day Zero
The last day before we set off. Tomorrow will be Day 1 of our adventure. We are beyond excited. So much so we camped in the garden last night and started the day with a brew on the stove. Great night saying goodbye to friends last night, where we received our new mascots - Lego Debs and Tom that we’ll take with us around the world - TooTallTom! Then this afternoon fish and chips street party with the wonderful neighbours followed by drinks at Marion’s spectacular garden. One silver lining to come from the covid cloud was the neighbours. During the first lockdown everyone got together to help each other out with shopping and errands, plus holding daily coffee breaks and exercise sessions in the street. The strong community spirit that built up is as strong as ever today. Thanks RIdge Green, we will miss you.
