Auf Wiedersehen Deutschland

Like the river we just kept on rolling along. We passed by town after town, were welcomed yet again with such kindness at more Warmshowers hosts, tried in vain to find a match to the best campsite showers ever, gazed at beautiful monuments to long-forgotten heroes we'd never heard of, and slowly but surely the Danube took us towards Austria. The weather warmed up, we no longer needed to wear every item of clothing we had to try and stay warm in the tent, we even treated ourselves to a hotel for the night when our campsite wasn't where Google promised. Finally, after eight days in a row without a break we reached Austria. We've stopped for two whole nights to have one day off the bike! Are we resting? No! Blog updated, Tom's film editing and I'm working out just how much we've overspent in Germany!
