The final countdown
Back in 2019 when we started planning this adventure we took a 10 day cycling trip to London and back with our tent to see if we liked it. We did, a lot. The same day that we came back I started a countdown to finishing work and stuck it on the wall. I loved my job but I loved seeing the days count down too. It seemed like it would go on forever but now it is very close. Feels like the last mile on a marathon. You know it’s in the bag and your widening smile starts making your cheeks ache!
