Day 652

Colourful Cartagena
After a day losing our sea legs and catching up on chores we turned tourists. Despite the heat we walked into the old town, strolling down the narrow streets, we stopped for a cocktail and people-watched for a while. Then we set out to explore. Cartagena is full of noise and colour, with beautiful art work decorating the buildings. Being Monday, the museums were closed and really, we were just in the mood to just wander aimlessly about. We ate a fantastic lunch, bumped into one of our fellow Wildcard friends, spotted a sloth, watched a few monkeys then headed off to find another street or two to explore. Tomorrow, we set off for Medellin and our journey cycling into South America begins!
