Day 73
Mutton Island
If you need your shit sorting get to Mutton Island Treatment Facility…
Nearby at Illaunafamona (Seaweed Point) are some curious cliffs made of silt/clay and random sized rocks scattered throughout. The rocks when freshly fallen are covered in scratches and damage marks. These marks soon disappear as the rocks are weathered by the sea. Following a bit of research it seems the cliffs are drumlins formed from glacial till. I found it cool to think that the marks were made thousands of years ago and have remained on these buried rocks until they drop out to the seashore, where they are slowly weathered away to be lost forever. Going down tomorrow at sunrise to try and get a nice photo.
